GSA Extends Financial, HR Support Contracts with Booz Allen ...

The General Services Administration has extended two contracts with Booz Allen Hamilton and Deloitte for financial management and human resources support, Federal News Radio reports.

Citing a FedBizOpps notice, Jason Miller reports Booz Allen received a seven-month extension to provide GSA?s CFO Council documentation, requirements, plans and other information needed to start building a web-based tool under the Treasury Report on Receivables initiative.

According to the report, Booz Allen developed a dashboard for agencies to manage their delinquent debt portfolio and use data analytics to comply with management oversight and compliance requirements under the Debt Collection Improvement Act and regulations from the Office of Management and Budget.

The company has until May 31 to update the existing Excel-based tool as well as develop a plan and gather aspects to update the tool.

Miller reports Deloitte?s contract extension is also for seven months to help GSA develop program management practices for the agency?s human resources line of business shared service center.

The company will give the agency recommendations and provide tools and templates for operating a line of business office.
